In Quy Nhơn, what if we were the tourist attraction?

Our first-hand experiences in Vietnam, including our travel stories and places we genuinely tested.

“Coco, coco, coco.” “Banana, banana, banana.” Sébastien looks at Matthieu. “It feels like we’re in *The Minions*.” Matthieu bursts out laughing...
“But that's impossible—she takes everything…” Matthieu looks at the sideboard. Then at the table next to it. “Not only does she cut in front of you, but she also takes all the dragon fruit.”...
In front of us, the traffic in Hué looks like a steady stream of scooters. An hour earlier, we were quietly sipping coffee at a huge intersection, fascinated by the way the motorcycles pass each other and weave in and out without ever really stopping. Now that we’re on our own scooter in the middle of the flow, the experience is different. Here, the horn…
“Ah, there, he’s putting on his pants.” We watch the man calmly cross the small restaurant. He gets back to his scooter, picks up a pair of pants from a chair and puts them on by the side of the road. A few minutes earlier, he was still in his boxers. “I think he’s definitely going to go buy the eggs.”...
“Nếu bạn đã dịch câu này, bạn biết nhiều hơn chúng tôi lúc đó. » The man continues speaking in Vietnamese while pointing to the bike. Sébastien looks at him. Then look at Matthew. Still no idea what he's trying to tell us. He starts again, this time with his hands...
“It was completely fake.” The receptionist at our very pretty hotel looks up at Matthieu, visibly surprised. She had just asked us what we had done the day before. “Cat Cat Village,” Matthieu replies. Before adding, with the most absolute naturalness: “It was completely fake.”...
“It’s me, Lisa!” A huge smile, a very high-pitched voice. Matthieu looks at her, completely lost. “But it’s me, Lisa! We talked!”...
The roar gets closer. In a few seconds, the waiters fold the tables against the walls, the tourists press against the facades and the train crosses the alley a few tens of centimeters from us. Welcome to Train Street. It is here that we discover Hanoi for the first time, among the cafes set up along the rails and the cameras already ready to immortalize the…
The bus driver turns off the engine, turns around and shows us the pontoon where we should stop. How does he know it's the right one? We never told him anything except our names. The journey from Hanoi was booked with a company; the cruise, in another, without ever connecting the two or giving the name of any ship. Perfectly established network or cruise…
We loved our stay at this hotel. The real highlight is the huge infinity pool with a magnificent view of the rice paddies. The breakfast is particularly generous, the rooms are spotless, and there’s even a small gym. Plus, downtown is just a short walk away (about 20 minutes). An excellent place to stay that we highly recommend.
