The place at a glance

Located on Coron Island in Palawan, Twin Lagoon is reached by boat on an island-hopping trip, often as part of an Ultimate or Super Ultimate tour. Two lagoons surrounded by towering limestone cliffs are connected by a narrow passage. Depending on the tide, you can swim through the opening or use a small ladder to get from one to the other.

What we loved

For us, this was the most impressive stop on our entire Coron island-hopping trip, especially when we saw it from our drone. Those two lagoons, with their different shades of blue, almost hidden among the cliffs, looked incredible from above! And the scenery is just as striking from the water: the towering rock walls make you feel tiny. It's definitely one of the landscapes that stayed with us most in Coron.

Our tip

If you can, ask your guide to visit Twin Lagoon early in the day. We went towards the end of the day, when the light made the colours of the water less striking. We also recommend exploring the lagoons by kayak: you can rent one directly on site, separately from your tour, without having to hire one for the entire excursion.
