Island hopping is one of the must-do activities in the Philippines, and Coron is particularly known for its spectacular scenery. Several boat trips explore the islands and lagoons of the archipelago. The Ultimate Tour offers a full day visiting iconic places such as Kayangan Lake, Twin Lagoon, coral gardens and snorkeling spots. The itinerary may vary depending on the operator.

What we loved

We went on plenty of island-hopping trips during our travels in the Philippines, but Coron was definitely one of our favorites! This time, we chose the Ultimate Tour as part of a group and discovered some incredible places, each completely different from the last. Between lagoons surrounded by towering limestone cliffs, turquoise waters and underwater scenery, every stop had something special. Some of the landscapes looked even more impressive from our drone!

Our tip

We rented a transparent kayak for the whole day, but looking back, we wouldn't necessarily recommend it. It's quite expensive for the amount of time you actually use it, especially since some stops offer kayak rentals on site. It's also worth comparing operators' itineraries and checking what's included in the price before booking.
