Onederz Koh Rong

The place at a glance

Right on Long Set Beach, Onederz is a bar and restaurant whose atmosphere changes throughout the day. During the day, things are pretty laid-back: you can settle into a sun lounger, enjoy the beach and have a drink overlooking the sea. But from late afternoon, the atmosphere gradually picks up! Between happy hours, DJ nights, fire shows and pub crawls, there's almost always something going on.

What we loved

We spent quite a few evenings at Onederz and loved the atmosphere! Our little ritual was to make the most of happy hour, usually between 6 pm and 9 pm, and order our beloved buckets of gin and tonic. Depending on the night, we'd end up playing pool, meeting other travellers or dancing with our feet in the sand. It's a really friendly place, and we never got bored. We also ate at the restaurant several times and, frankly, we were never disappointed!

Our tip

Have a look at the activity schedule before you go, as the evenings can be quite different from one another. If you prefer a quieter atmosphere, come during the day to enjoy the sun loungers. Otherwise, we'd recommend arriving in the late afternoon to catch happy hour before staying on for whatever events are planned that night!
