The place at a glance

Located at the far end of Long Set Beach on Koh Rong Island, Koh Rong Hill Beach Resort has small private bungalows surrounded by greenery, with direct access to the beach. There’s also a restaurant and, best of all, a beautiful infinity pool overlooking the sea. It’s a lovely place to enjoy the beach in a quieter setting without feeling completely cut off.

What we loved

What we really loved was the location. The hotel is right at the far end of Long Set Beach, where there’s very little beyond it, so you can get away from the bustle of the central part of the beach. And yet, the bars and restaurants are only about a ten-minute walk away.

But the real highlight for us was definitely the infinity pool! We loved spending time there, especially towards the end of the day, when the sun sets behind Koh Rong’s hills. We honestly never got tired of it!

Our tip

If you’re looking for somewhere peaceful to stay on Long Set Beach while still being close to the bars and restaurants, this is a great option. One practical tip: double-check your arrival pier when booking your ferry. Koh Rong Hill Port serves this part of the beach directly. If your ferry stops there, you can get off right by the hotel instead of walking across the beach with all your luggage!
