A place we recommend in a context where some discretion may feel preferable. This does not mean the venue is discriminatory.

Woywoy Escape Tabo

If you’re looking for a quiet place with privacy, we can really recommend this hotel. We loved having so much space, enjoying the pool and the hot tub, and waking up to the view of the rice fields and the little forest right across the way. Breakfast was also very good, and the overall atmosphere really invites you to relax. As is the case in much of Indonesia, the hotel doesn’t specifically market itself as LGBT-friendly. That said, thanks to the layout of the property and the privacy it offers, we felt comfortable and right at home in our little cocoon, without ever being disturbed. In short, it’s a peaceful place where you feel at ease from the moment you arrive.
