Located in Sayan, away from the bustle of central Ubud, Sridewi Villas Ubud offers spacious suites with private pools and kitchens. Surrounded by rice fields, it provides a peaceful setting while keeping Ubud's main attractions within easy reach by vehicle.

What we loved

This was our first place to stay when we arrived in Ubud, and we chose it mainly for the privacy. No overlooking neighbours, a little pool all to ourselves and a spacious room: it really felt like our own retreat. The staff were lovely and easy to contact. Breakfast was brought straight to our room; it was simple but did the job. We particularly enjoyed having somewhere we could happily spend time without rushing out again.

Our tip

If you're looking for somewhere in Ubud where you can enjoy your room and private pool without being disturbed, this is a great option. We loved being able to reach the centre fairly easily, then return to the peace of the rice fields. One thing to know before arriving: cars can't reach the villas. Access is by scooter along narrow paths through the rice fields. The staff will meet you at a prearranged pickup point and take you to your accommodation.
