The place at a glance

Along the Siem Reap River, several little open-air bars sit side by side, with tables and chairs set up by the water. Siem Reap Cocktails and Cafe is one of them: an unpretentious spot where you can enjoy an inexpensive cocktail, a bit of music and a laid-back atmosphere.

What we loved

Whenever we went out in Siem Reap, we often started the evening here with a drink or two. We liked the relaxed atmosphere, the friendly service and the inexpensive cocktails. One evening, the owner’s brother joined us at our table, and we spent quite a while talking about Cambodia, everyday life and even politics. It was a really interesting conversation, and we happily came back several more times.

Our tip

If you want somewhere relaxed to have a drink before a livelier night out, this is a good choice. We liked stopping here before heading to Bar Code or God for some dancing.
