LGBTQ+ venue

A venue intended for the wider LGBTQ+ community.

The place in a few words

Located in the Marais, Raidd Bar has been a fixture of Parisian gay nightlife since 2003 and now welcomes everyone. Its signature attraction is a glass shower where dancers known as the Shower Boys perform to music, revealing as much or as little as they choose. Expect a lively atmosphere somewhere between a bar and a club.

What we loved

We discovered Raidd a few years ago and still enjoy going back whenever we're out in Paris. The music is good, drinks are reasonably priced, and the shows add a playful, unexpected twist to the night. We also like how intimate the place feels: it isn't huge, which makes meeting people and striking up conversations easy. We rarely leave without having met someone new!

Our tip

To catch the famous Shower Boys, plan to arrive after midnight, when the first shows begin. There are several performances throughout the night, so there's no need to rush for the first one. Entry is free with a required drink purchase, and happy hour runs until 10 p.m. The bar also hosts themed nights on different days of the week.
