The place in a few words
Located in Paris's 11th arrondissement, near Canal Saint-Martin, Paname Art Café is a well-known stand-up comedy club. In its intimate venue, established comedians and emerging talents take turns trying out jokes in front of an audience. Several shows take place each evening, generally lasting around an hour. The venue also has a bar and restaurant.
What we loved
Whenever we're in Paris, we try to fit a stand-up night into our plans! We've tried several comedy clubs and work-in-progress shows across the city, but Paname Art Café is the one we keep coming back to. We find the line-ups particularly good, with comedians offering different styles and new discoveries each time. The intimate setting and closeness to the performers make the experience even more engaging and welcoming.
Our tip
Although you can eat and drink at the venue, we recommend enjoying one of the many bars and restaurants around Canal Saint-Martin before heading to Paname just for the show. Book your tickets in advance, especially at weekends. Several performances are offered at fixed times throughout the evening.
