The place at a glance

In the Sala Kamroeuk neighbourhood, Mlu Kitchen & Cafe is a small Siem Reap restaurant set in a leafy garden. With its greenery, little lights and thoughtfully arranged decorations, the setting is especially charming in the evening. It's a lovely spot to discover Cambodian food in a peaceful atmosphere, away from the city's busier streets.

What we loved

We discovered this restaurant one evening when there were hardly any other guests, and we immediately fell for its little garden. But the food was the real highlight! We started with skewers, then tried steamed fish with lemongrass paste and a curry. Everything was delicious, from the starter to the mains, and the service was genuinely attentive. We had such a lovely evening here.

Our tip

Since you'll be dining among plenty of plants, bring mosquito repellent, especially in the evening. The restaurant is also tucked away from the busier streets, so keep the Google Maps pin handy to find it easily.
