The place in a few words

Located beside Canal Saint-Martin in Paris’s 10th arrondissement, La Cidrerie du Canal is a cosy little bar specialising in craft cider. It offers a wide selection, from dry to fruity varieties, including some surprising options. The bar also serves small sharing plates and has a terrace.

What we loved

What we particularly enjoyed was the tasting flight, where you can choose several ciders served in small glasses. It’s a great way to discover different flavours and realise that there’s much more to cider than the varieties you might already know! The bar is small and often busy, but that’s part of its charm. We enjoyed the intimate, friendly atmosphere, with the canal just across the street.

Our tip

We recommend starting with a tasting flight, then ordering a pint of your favourite cider. Don’t hesitate to ask the staff for recommendations. Food is also available, although we haven’t tried it ourselves. As seating is limited, it’s best to arrive early, especially at weekends.
