The place in a few words
Right in the centre of El Nido, on Calle Hama, Calamari Restobar is a restaurant-bar that takes on a completely different atmosphere as the evening goes on. Once the music picks up, it feels like a little open-air nightclub, with an improvised dance floor and even karaoke upstairs. A laid-back spot to experience El Nido’s nightlife.
What we loved
We came here for a reunion with the people we’d met on our cruise from Coron to El Nido, just two days after saying goodbye. And what a reunion it was! We danced, laughed a lot and met quite a few locals, spending hours chatting and partying together. The result? We got back far, far too late. One of those completely unplanned nights that ends up becoming a brilliant travel memory!
Our tip
We can’t comment on the food at all, since we never ate here! But if you’re looking for somewhere to go out in El Nido, have a few drinks and dance without overthinking it, this place is worth a try. Head over later in the evening, when things start to liven up.
