Amami Gelato Siem Reap

The place at a glance

Located on Street 26 in Siem Reap's Wat Bo neighbourhood, Amami Gelato is a small ice cream shop set in a traditional wooden house surrounded by greenery. It serves homemade ice cream and sorbets, with both classic and more unusual flavours, including tropical fruit options. The small garden and a few places to sit make it a lovely spot to enjoy a scoop.

What we loved

We stopped by once or twice after dinner when we fancied something sweet to end the evening. What we particularly liked was how the flavours change regularly, giving us a reason to try something different each time. The ice cream was good, although, in our opinion, it doesn't quite compare to the gelato you can enjoy in Italy. Still, we really liked this little spot in Siem Reap, especially its leafy setting.

Our tip

Don't hesitate to ask to sample a few flavours before choosing, especially ones you've never tried. It's a good opportunity to discover something a little different, particularly the options made with local fruit.
