Meloneras Promenade
Activities
General venue
A recommended place without a particular LGBTQ+ positioning.
The place in a few words
Near the Maspalomas lighthouse, the Meloneras promenade runs along the Atlantic Ocean. Lined with large hotels, restaurants, cafés and a few shops, it's a fairly touristy and upscale area, but a pleasant place for a seaside stroll. You can also continue towards Meloneras Beach.
What we loved
We like coming here in the morning, having a coffee on a terrace overlooking the ocean and simply enjoying the moment. It's become a little ritual during our stays in Maspalomas. We stroll around, browse the shops and take our time. Nothing extraordinary, but that's exactly what we enjoy: a relaxing moment with no particular plans and the sea right beside us.
Our tip
We recommend stopping by in the morning for a coffee before heading to Maspalomas Beach, especially the famous kiosk no. 5 in the gay beach area. From the lighthouse, you can continue on foot across the sand to get there. It's a lovely way to start the day.
