In the lively Ximending district of Taipei, this little shop has become a social media sensation thanks to its famous Crispy Milk Donuts. What we loved

We admit it: social media influenced us too! After seeing this place pop up so often, we wanted to try it ourselves. And we weren't disappointed! It was genuinely tasty and quite different from what we were used to eating. We also loved the street-food atmosphere: stopping spontaneously for a treat before continuing our walk through Ximending's lively streets.

Our tip

Don't be put off by the queue! It can look intimidating, but it usually moves fairly quickly. We recommend stopping for a sweet treat while wandering around Ximending. There's no need to cross the whole city just for this, but if you're already in the neighbourhood, it's well worth a stop!
