Who we are
Two travellers, one shared story.
In April 2026, we left our everyday life in Switzerland to spend a little over a year on the road. Not a few weeks off work or a trip between two jobs: we chose to make travel our daily life. Since then, we move forward stop after stop, taking the time to discover places, to meet the people who live there and to tell how this year is changing the way we see the world.

Our first surprise in Phnom Penh wasn't the Royal Palace, but our hotel room. After several hours on a bus from Ho Chi Minh City, we arrived in the rain at the Ocean Hotel, where we were told we'd been upgraded. Always good news! Except that our new room was in a corridor where several guests seemed to be competing in a smoking contest. Kaohsiung: what if we had missed out on this city?
“Would you like to join the workshop?” A few metres away from us, a man in his underwear is hanging from ropes in the middle of a bar. All we wanted was somewhere to have a drink and discover Kaohsiung’s gay scene. We came to Xiaoliuqiu for the turtles and we weren’t disappointed
The first thing we see when we arrive in Xiaoliuqiu is not a turtle, but a sunset. After a ferry crossing of around thirty minutes from Donggang, we arrive on this tiny island off Taiwan’s southwest coast. Xiaoliuqiu is famous above all for one thing: its sea turtles.
