Reef Turtle Dive Center

The place in a few words

Located in San Juan on Siquijor Island, Reef Turtle Dive Center is a small dive shop offering shore dives straight from the beach. The surrounding reefs are home to colorful corals, tropical fish, nudibranchs and sea turtles. It's a convenient way to explore Siquijor's underwater world without having to get on a boat.

What we loved

We did two dives with a Spanish instructor who runs the center with her boyfriend, and we had such a good time. Shore diving is incredibly convenient: no boat needed, just gear up and head straight to the reef. We saw plenty of marine life, and the dive sites are especially known for turtles. The instruction was excellent and the prices were genuinely affordable compared with other centers we'd looked at. And we loved the little extra touch: pastries offered between our two dives!

Our tip

If you're planning to dive in Siquijor, we'd definitely recommend checking out this center. Shore dives let you make the most of your time underwater without spending ages traveling to dive sites. It's worth booking a little in advance and asking which sites are planned based on the day's conditions.
