Heaven

Heaven

LGBTQ+ friendly

A welcoming place open to LGBTQ+ people.

The place in a few words

Opened in 1979, Heaven is a true institution of London's gay nightlife. Tucked beneath the railway arches at Charing Cross, this legendary club has played an important role in British LGBTQ+ history. Today it attracts a diverse crowd, with several rooms and nights featuring pop, dance music and British classics.

What we loved

We loved the quintessentially British atmosphere, with familiar hits that everyone sings along to! Although Heaven is historically a gay club, you'll meet all kinds of people there, and that's part of its charm. The vibe is lively and relaxed, perfect for dancing the night away without taking yourself too seriously.

Our tip

Heaven is very popular, and queues can get long, especially at weekends. We recommend arriving early so you don't spend a big part of your night waiting outside. Check the event schedule too, as the music and themed nights vary. And don't forget to bring a valid photo ID!
