The place in a few words

Located in San Juan on Siquijor Island, Charisma Beach Resort is a small beachfront hotel with simple rooms, a courtyard swimming pool and direct access to a semi-private beach with sun loungers. Its west-facing location makes it a lovely spot to watch the sunset over the sea.

What we loved

We stayed at Charisma Beach Resort for almost a week, and what we especially loved was having direct access to a little semi-private beach. Sun loungers, wonderfully clean water where we could easily swim, and some absolutely gorgeous sunsets! We spent plenty of time enjoying this spot, especially since not every beach around San Juan is great for swimming. The rooms are fairly basic, but with a setting like that, we hardly wanted to spend our days indoors anyway!

Our tip

If location and easy beach access matter more to you than having a fancy room, this hotel is a great option. Keep a few late afternoons free to enjoy the beach and sunset. Breakfast was included in our booking: nothing elaborate, but more than enough before heading out to explore Siquijor.
