The Coron to El Nido expedition is a multi-day boat journey through the islands of Palawan in the Philippines. You'll sail between secluded beaches, turquoise waters and incredible snorkeling spots. Days are spent swimming, exploring and relaxing, while nights are spent at island camps. Many operators offer trips of varying lengths, from budget-friendly options to more luxurious experiences.

What we loved

We chose the 4-day, 3-night trip, and it was probably one of the best experiences of our time in the Philippines! We had high expectations, but the expedition exceeded them. Beyond the beautiful scenery, what really stayed with us was meeting people and the atmosphere within the group. We shared unforgettable evenings with fellow travelers and the crew, especially during karaoke! Another big surprise was the food prepared on board: absolutely delicious, among the best meals we had in the Philippines. Four days completely unplugged, with incredible memories to take home.

Our tip

Take time to compare operators based on your budget, preferred comfort level and, above all, the atmosphere you're looking for. Some boats have a lively party vibe, while others are much more relaxed. Ask about this before booking so you can find the right trip. We also recommend traveling from Coron to El Nido rather than the other way around. To us, arriving in El Nido is much more spectacular and enjoyable than arriving in Coron, thanks to its impressive scenery. A wonderful way to end the adventure!
