We arrived in Marrakech during winter, when Europe is still wrapped in cold but the city shines with dazzling sun. Marrakech is wild in many ways, a true concentrate of disorientation.
For the two of us, used to European cities, it was a cultural and sensory shock. Everything is different: the bustling souks, the smell of spices, the red walls glowing in the sunset, the deep blues of the gardens, the call to prayer echoing in the dry air.
Even if culturally it sometimes felt like the opposite of what we know, we still cherished it. Being pulled away from our routine into a place where every detail tells another story was something precious.
Marrakech gave us generous sunshine, stunning sceneries, and vibrant colors. A short trip, but one that left us with a sense of beauty and wonder.
